8 March 2013
Today, the British Screen Advisory Council (BSAC) announced that Ajay Chowdhury, entrepreneur and long-standing BSAC Member would become a new Deputy Chair of the organisation. He replaces John Howkins, Director, ITR & Co.
Adam Singer, BSAC Chairman said, “Ajay is an entrepreneur who brings a kiss of the new, with a record of making new interactive businesses work and be profitable. To do this, he has drawn on his skills in television, finance and advertising. Ajay combines the talents of where BSAC has come from and where it is going to, so, for BSAC, this is an ideal match”.
Ajay Chowdhury said, “I am delighted and honoured to be joining BSAC’s board. I have been a member of BSAC for many years and know first-hand that it provides a unique forum for UK media companies to allow them to discuss and gain insights into key issues facing them in this time of turbulent change. I look forward to contributing to the direction of BSAC over the coming years”.
