June 2014 Council meeting

The 198th BSAC Council meeting took place on Wednesday, 11 June 2014.

Items on the agenda included:

– The Games Tax Credit: a discussion on the Expectations of Industry and Government and Challenges for Implementation, led by Andy Tomlinson (Public Affairs and Policy Officer, UKIE)

– Playlister: an Illustration of the Partnership between Traditional and New Players, featuring Karolina Joynathsing (Business Development, Music and Radio, BBC Future Media) and Nikki Lambert (European Director of Marketing, Spotify)

– Richard Lindsay-Davies (CEO, Digital TV Group), presenting the findings of the recently published final report from the Future of Innovation in Television Technology Taskforce (FITT)

– The Business of Global Video Content, with Sam Barcroft (Founder and CEO, Barcroft Media).
