The Green Party Deputy Leader and spokesperson for Culture, Rachel Millward, has agreed to take part in a roundtable with British Screen Forum to discuss the screen sector’s policy priorities. The discussion will be primed by a presentation from our Head of Policy, Kerry Kent. This roundtable will be the first major engagement British Screen Forum has had with the Green Party (who sit ahead of the Liberal Democrats and not far behind the Labour party in the most recent YouGov Westminster voting intention poll) and it will offer Members a great opportunity to help develop the party’s policies relating to our sector at a high level. The exact talking points are currently being agreed and will be announced in due course, but are expected to include access to finance, workforce issues, public service media and the UK’s relationship with Europe and the rest of the world.
