For: British Screen Forum Members & Invited Guests

British Screen Forum and CMS are partnering on a Breakfast Business Seminar exploring the European Commission’s review of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD) and hope you can attend. The Seminar will take place at a crucial time, as the Commission begins to consider responses to the consultation closing on 1st May before embarking on the first review since the current Directive was adopted in 2018.

The seminar will be structured in two parts. In part one, Kerry Kent (Head of Policy, British Screen Forum) will give an overview of the 2026 review process and the key issues within it. In part two, John Enser (Partner, CMS) will chair a panel with leading industry experts who will consider how those issues may play out and what that may mean for the UK.

Panellists and the agenda will be announced soon.
