Following the publication of the Online Safety Bill in May, Sarah Connolly has agreed to participate in an Exclusive Access Policy Roundtable with Members focussing on the following key issues currently being considered during the period of pre-legislative scrutiny:

• The scope of the bill
• Protection of freedom of expression
• Implementation

Members will recall that Sarah Connolly participated in a similar British Screen Forum roundtables on Online Harm in April 2020 and February 2021 while the Bill was being drafted. For the upcoming event she is expected to be joined by relevant policy leads: Katie Morris (Head of regulatory policy), Jo Brooks (Head of technology policy for Online Harms), Emma Coombs (Policy lead on freedom of expression), Matt Stokes (Policy lead on Scope) and Ashleigh Tilley (Head of stakeholder engagement).
