BSAC roundtable with BFI Commission on UK independent film

A delegation of BSAC Members has met with Zygi Kamasa (Chair, BFI Commission on UK Independent Film) and other members of the Commission to feed views into the BFI’s Commission on UK Independent Film and to help inform its work. This event was one of a limited number of such events that the BFI Commission on UK Independent Film is holding with the industry.

This Commission is looking at the health of the UK independent film industry and will make evidence based recommendations on what should be done to improve conditions for the sector’s long-term future, in particular for stronger growth at home and internationally. Its establishment was a key priority for the industry as identified in the BFI’s new five-year plan for UK film, BFI2022.

This was a private event for BSAC Members.
