April 2025 Insight Event

At our Insight Event on 30 April 2025, Members had the opportunity to hear presentations from Andrew Killeen (Principal Analyst, Ampere Analysis), with contributions from from Laura Mansfield (CEO, ScreenSkills) and Kevin Blacoe (Head of Partnerships and Skills, Channel 4), on the recently published ScreenSkills and 4SKills report “Sizing Up: Workforce Composition and Capacity in the Screen Industries“; James Smith (Co-Founder & CEO, Human Native AI), who discussed opportunities to monetize archives and create new ethically licensed content for AI training using Human Native AI’s AI Data Marketplace; and Sir Simon Fraser (Founding Partner, Flint Global) and Sam Lowe (Partner, Flint Global), who provided their expert opinions on Trump’s Tariffs, the economic fallout from them and how it might affect the UK screen sectors.
