Roundtable on Sustainable Digitalisation for the Screen Sectors

On Thursday 11 April 2024, Members had the opportunity to take part in a Roundtable on sustainable digitalisation for the screen sectors with co-directors of the AHRC-funded Global Green Media Network Hunter Vaughan (Senior Research Associate at the Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy at the University of Cambridge) and Pietari Kääpä (Professor of Media Communications at the University of Warwick), as well as Dom Robinson (Founder, Greening of Streaming). This Roundtable examined the industry’s current move to digital production and explored how ambitious environmental and social policy can be developed as this transition gears up, following the release of the Sustainable Digitalisation report in late 2023.
