At our Insight Event on 25 November 2020, Members had the opportunity to hear presentations from Ben McOwen Wilson (YouTube UK & Ireland Managing Director) on YouTube and its role in producing the next generation of screen talent; from Leon Forde (Managing Director, Olsberg·SPI) presenting the findings of Olsberg·SPI’s report on Global Screen Production – The Impact of Film & TV Production on Economic Recovery from COVID-19; from Steve Langdon (Regional Director EMEA & ANZ, Parrot Analytics) on the travelability of British screen content and the longtail resurgence; and a conversation with Josh Berger CBE (President and Managing Director, Warner Bros. Entertainment UK, Eire & Spain and President, Harry Potter Global Franchise Development)  discussing the exploitation of IP through the development of one of the most successful and best loved franchises of all time, and reflections on his 30-plus year career at Warner Bros.
