Insight Event January 2023

At our Insight Event on 18 January 2023, Members had the opportunity to hear presentations from Theo Priestley (Tech Futurist) on the creative possibilities of web3; Baroness Young of Hornsey (House of Lords & Chair, LGA Independent Commission) on the Local Government Association’s Commission on Culture and Local Government and the role that publicly funded culture can play in our national recovery; Sinead Greenaway (Director, Broadcast and End User Technology, BBC) on how the BBC is using tech to improve its services; and Cristina Morales Puerta (Spanish Deputy General Director for Audiovisual Media Services Regulation) on the Spanish Government’s plans to supercharge their audiovisual ecosystem with a €1.6bn investment.
