In Memoriam: Michael Flint

British Screen Forum is saddened to report that our long time Honorary Deputy Chair Michael Flint has passed away. Michael Flint had been a Member of British Screen Forum since 1990, served as Deputy Chairman from 1994 – 2006, and then as Honorary Deputy Chairman since 2006.

Michael Flint qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1954. He became a partner in the law firm of Denton Hall & Burgin (now Denton Wilde Sapte) in 1960.  In 1967 he joined Paramount Pictures and became Vice-President in charge of European Production.  He resigned from Paramount in 1970 to become Chairman of London Screen Enterprises. Mr Flint returned to Denton Hall in 1972 where he remained until he retired from the partnership in 1994.  From 1989-1994 he was Chairman of Denton Hall.

British Screen Forum passes on its condolences to Michael’s family, loved ones, and all who knew him.
