On 3 August 2021, Members had the opportunity to discuss the ongoing government consultation on the future ownership of Channel 4 with Rt Hon John Whittingdale OBE MP (Minister for Media and Data). Members were able to explore with the Minister the rationale for the proposals in the consultation and to express views on potential outcomes.
