Live Podcast Recording and Private Lunch with Sir Peter Bazalgette
On: Monday 12 December from 11.30am – 2.00pm
We are delighted to announce this exclusive British Screen Forum Members only live podcast recording with Sir Peter Bazalgette, which will be immediately followed by a private lunch for all in attendance.
As you are hopefully aware, we have for several months been producing a series of podcasts aimed at framing the debate around public service broadcasting, featuring in depth conversations with key figures at the heart of that debate over the past 25 years. The series draws out the lessons of previous debates to inform current and future consideration of the framework that supports UK public service media. The first six episodes have now been released and are available on major podcast platforms (links available here). They feature Rt Hon Sir John Whittingdale MP, David Abraham, Mark Thompson, Lord Puttnam of Queensgate, James Purnell and Ed Richards. Further episodes in the can or being recorded shortly will share the views of Tony Hall, Mike Darcey, Jean Seaton, Adam Singer and David Elstein.
We have just lined up an episode with Sir Peter Bazalgette which is to be recorded from 11:30am on 12 December in front of a small group of Members. This will be immediately followed by a private lunch with those attending members at which a wider range of issues might be discussed with Sir Peter under the Chatham House rule. Attendees could expect to be away by 2pm.
Spaces are strictly limited at the event and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
At: Central London location
For: British Screen Forum Members only
