Business Seminar: Once Upon a Time in the Future: what might the UK screen sector landscape look like in 2031? (Day Two)

On Day Two, British Screen Forum Members and invited guests had the opportunity to hear a conversation between Beth Kindig (Technology Analyst, io-Fund) and Jon Gisby (Chair, British Screen Forum). Following, Lord Vaizey of Didcot (a Member of the Lords Communications and Digital Committee who, as Ed Vaizey, was a DCMS Minister from 2010 to 2016) discussed the potential future policy and regulatory environment with Samira Ahmed (Broadcaster, BBC). Cliff Fluet (Partner, Lewis Silkin) then presented on potentially disruptive technologies. Day Two concluded with a panel on the potential future impact of technology on production, chaired by Samira Ahmed and featuring Philippa Childs (Deputy General Secretary, BECTU), Brad Blackbourn (Virtual Production Manager, The Third Floor Inc), Sara Geater (COO, All3Media), and Cliff Fluet.
