Business Seminar: Once Upon a Time in the Future: what might the UK screen sector landscape look like in 2031? (Day One)
On Day One, British Screen Forum Members and invited guests had the opportunity to hear a presentation on broader societal trends from Chris Yiu (Executive Director, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change). This was followed by a presentation from Ben Keen (Consultant, British Screen Forum) that explored the emerging trends and battlefronts in the next decade of media competition. Day One finished with a panel discussion looking at the future of consumption and distribution, chaired by Susanna Dinnage (former Global President, Animal Planet) and featuring Gavin Johnson (Group Media Director, City Football Group), Tim Richards (Founder & CEO, Vue International), Dr Jo Twist (CEO, Ukie) and Sue Unerman (Chief Transformation Officer, MediaCom).
