BSAC Urges Amendment of UK/South Africa Co-Production Treaty

On 28 February 2013, BSAC wrote to the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) of South Africa in support of an amendment to the UK/ South Africa Co-Production Treaty in light of the implementation of the new creative sector tax reliefs, an amendment to which could enable high end TV productions to qualify.

Since then, The TV Coalition has called for both the UK/South Africa Treaty and the European Convention on Cinematographic Co-productions to be amended.
