BSAC Film, TV and Games Conference 2016
The BSAC Film, TV and Games Conference, sponsored by Time Warner, took place on 19 April 2016.
Sessions over the day included:
- Keynotes: Ben McOwen Wilson (YouTube); and Amanda Nevill (BFI)
- Sessions on: Virtual Reality, Dave Ranyard in conversation with Jo Twist; The Man in the High Castle, with Steward MacKinnon (Headline Pictures); and Total War, with Tim Heaton (Creative Assembly)
- Panels: on the UK Audiovisual Industries’ Competitiveness, featuring Martin Baker (Channel 4), Noirin Carmody (Revolution Games), Allan Niblo (Vertigo Films) and Sir William Sargent (Framestore); examining the potential of The Blockchain, with Cliff Fluet (Lewis Silkin), Oliver N Oram (Chainvine) and Benji Rogers (PledgeMusic); and about The Pursuit of Youth, introduced by Gill Hind (Enders Analysis) and featuring Dan’l Hewitt (Maker Studios), Stuart Saw (Twitch), Claire Tavernier and Mimi Turner (LADbible group)
- The publication of the annual BSAC UK Movie Market Update, accompanied by a complementary presentation from IHS.
